About this record
Record your legal experience, reflect on your development, map your recorded exposure against the SRA Statement of Solicitor Competence and build a professional record of the lawyer you are becoming. Also supports eligible LPC transitional candidates.
Important — what this is, and isn't
The inlaw Qualification & Training Record is an independent training, reflection and record-keeping aid. It is not produced, approved or endorsed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). The workbook does not itself confirm Qualifying Work Experience, assess competence to practise, determine eligibility for admission or replace mySRA or any other formal regulatory process. Qualification requirements and SRA guidance can change. Users should check the current SRA requirements applicable to their individual circumstances.
Confirmation of qualifying work experience is made by your confirming solicitor or COLP through mySRA. Always check the current requirements that apply to your route — SRA guidance. Record only what is appropriate: use anonymised matter references and keep descriptions high level, avoiding privileged, confidential, commercially sensitive or personal information.
